Homogenization

Particle size reduction for stable emulsions

Homogenization

What is Homogenization?

Homogenization is a mechanical process that reduces and uniformly distributes particle sizes in a liquid, creating stable emulsions or suspensions.
By forcing the product through a narrow gap at high pressure, large fat globules or solid particles are broken down into fine, uniform droplets, typically ranging from 1 to 5 microns. It is widely used in the dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries to improve product stability, texture, appearance, and bioavailability.
